We’re not going to give you that Goat herder’s story, but we will go back a few years to the days of electric percolators and “as long as it’s brown and cheap they’ll drink it” mentality of the 1960s. We’ll progress through the 70s and rediscovery of fine coffees abandoned by the grocery chains, to the innovation of modern shop air roasters, the Pacific Northwest’s introduction of espresso-based beverages to the present Third Wave manual pour-overs.
